Privacy Policy

The short version: Final Form Fitness keeps your data on your iPhone and Apple Watch. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We never see, sell or share your workouts or your Apple Health data.
This policy explains what the Final Form Fitness app for iPhone and Apple Watch ("Final Form", "the app", "we") does with your information. Final Form is made by Venture Studio LLC, based in Oklahoma, USA.
What the app stores
To work, the app saves the following on your device:
- Your workouts, sets, plan, exercise preferences and progress (XP, badges, records).
- Details you enter in Settings or the coach: sex, birth year, height, weight, goals, experience, equipment, schedule and any injuries or exercises you can't do.
- Your coach chat history and app settings.
This information is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us or to any server we run, and we have no way to access it. It may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backups, depending on your Apple settings. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Apple Health
If you allow it, the app reads the following from Apple Health: workouts, steps, active energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, body weight, body fat percentage, and nutrition (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and water). It uses them to show your stats, estimate calories and adjust your training (for example, an easier day after a short night of sleep).
If you allow it, the app saves your workouts, active energy, weigh-ins and body fat entries to Apple Health.
Health data never leaves your device through the app. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it, share it with third parties, or store it in iCloud ourselves. You can change or remove these permissions at any time in the Health app: tap your profile picture, then Apps → Final Form.
Apple Watch
The Watch app and the iPhone app talk to each other directly to show your current workout. When you work out with the Watch app, it records a workout to Apple Health with your heart rate and calories, the same as other workout apps.
The coach and its chat
Your training program is built inside the app. Coach chat replies are worked out on your device, using Apple's built-in features where your device supports them. Your messages are not sent to us.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details; Apple only tells the app whether you have an active subscription. Manage or cancel it in the iPhone Settings app under your name → Subscriptions.
Exercise pictures and links
Some exercise photos are loaded from a public image library hosted on GitHub. Like any web request, GitHub receives your device's IP address and basic request information to deliver the image. No personal information is sent. Other exercise illustrations are built into the app. Links to research sources open in your web browser, under that website's own privacy policy.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools.
- No selling or sharing of personal information.
Children
Final Form is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app does not collect personal information, none is held by us.
Your choices
- Turn Apple Health access on or off at any time in the Health app: your profile picture → Apps → Final Form.
- Delete your data by deleting the app from your iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete, but you're welcome to contact us with any questions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting information, we will update this policy before that happens.
